Einen Schwung kleiner Stoffreste, die man normalerweise entsorgen würde und die man liebevoll in kleine Quadrate geschnitten hat.

Füge beides zusammen und hat als Ergebnis eine Uhr für die angesagte Hobbynäherin ( und ASS)!

Wie versprochen passiert hier jetzt doch wieder etwas!
Auch wenn es eher ein Nachtrag ist. ;)
Leider bin ich vor Weihnachten zu nicht allzu vielen Dingen gekommen, weil mein Auto streikte, die Bahn zu spät war, der Schnee etc etc... aber EIN Geschenk habe ich doch geschafft.

Der Stoff stammt vom holländischen Stoffmarkt und ARRRRRRRR, klar soweit, dass ich ihn kaufen musste.
Aber wofür verwenden? Und für wen? Die Idee kam kurz vor dem Fest und es traf einen Piratenfan ( logisch) mit Notebook.
Der Schnitt stammt von Oh Fransson, der Simple Laptop Sleeve.
Simpel war da allerdings nichts, wenn man sich so bräsig anstellt wie ich. Der Totenkopf auf der Klappe sollte ja unbedingt in die richtige Richtung zeigen. Was dann zu mehrfachem Fluchen und Trennen führte. Logisches Denken ist nicht IMMER meine Stärke.
Und dann die Sorge, passt Erestor ( ja, die steht nicht nur auf Piraten!) denn hinein? Er passt, sitzt und hat Luft.
Und er kam sogar BEINAHE pünktlich zum Fest.



As promised here's a new entry. Though it really is an addendum.
Last Christmas I really had too little time to make presents myself. My car broke down, the trains were late, the snow and so on and so on... but ONE thing I sewed!


The fabric was bought on the Dutch fabric market and really I couldn't resist it... savvy? But for whom and what to sew? Shortly before Christmas I had the brilliant idea for a pirate fan and notebook user.
The pattern is from Oh Fransson, the Simple Laptop Sleeve. Simple won't cut it if you are a little moron like me sometimes. The skull should look in the same direction as the rest and this was a real task including a lot of cursing and ripping. Thinking logical isn't always easy for me.
And then the pivotal question. Would it fit Erestor? ( yes, she doesn't only like pirates!)
Yes, it fitted perfectly!
And the gift was almost in time!

Passiert hier auch mal wieder was. Bestimmt! Ich nähe, aber leider kann ich davon nichts zeigen. ;) ( Auch wenn es mich fürchterlich Nerven gekostet hat!)
Und von den Socken bin ich auch mal wieder, die habe ich aber noch nicht fotografiert. Kommt alles noch!

Dafür gibt es einen wundervolle Fehlermeldung meines Laptops. Wenigstens bin ich nicht die Einzige, die ab und an vergesslich ist.

Unglaublich, DHL hat uns anscheinend hier doch nicht VÖLLIG vergessen! Heute kamen ZWEI Päckchen an! Das eine aus dem hohen Norden, gefüllt mit Tee, Lebkuchen und Dingen in wunderbarem BLÖH!

Mein erster Möbius, dank der Anleitung von Cat Bordhi sehr einfach zu stricken.

Wenn man die erste Runde überstanden hat, ist alles ganz einfach!
Ich hoffe, ihr seid gut ins neue Jahr gekommen. Leider konnte man den Jahreswechsel hier kaum sehen, weil es so nebelig war. Aber augenscheinlich sind wir hier auch in 2011 angekommen!

After finishing the first round, it was quite easy!

I wish you a happy new year though we didn't see the turn of the year very well because of the fog. But obviously we arrived in the year 2011, too.

Ich weiß, der Schnee, das Chaos und überhaupt. Ich hatte auch nicht wirklich damit gerechnet, dass meine Sachen, die ich ein bzw. zwei Wochen vor Weihnachten bestellt hatte, noch pünktlich zum Fest kommen. Wie gesagt.. der Schnee, das Chaos...
Aber inzwischen ist das Jahr fast vorbei und es sind noch immer vier Pakete und zwei Päckchen unterwegs. Ich lebe wirklich nicht in der Walachei, inzwischen ist auch hier der Schnee geräumt, Hermes kam vorbeigeflogen und die Müllabfuhr war auch da, nur DHL nicht. Die Sachen sind seit über zwei Wochen unterwegs und liegen anscheinend gemütlich in Hagen im Paketzentrum. Warum auch immer. Und so langsam geht mir das Verständnis aus...






I know, the snow, the chaos and everthing. I really didn't expected my orders to arrive in time though I've ordered them one or two weeks before Christmas. Because of the snow, the chaos...
But now the year is nearly over and there are still four packets and two parcels on their way. I don't live behind the seven mountains, the streets are mostly free of snow, Hermes just passed by and the garbage disposal was also here, only DHL didn't show up! Those things are on their way for nearly two weeks, lying around in Hagen for whatever purpose! I'm starting to have a lack of understanding.
